There were two “Games of the Day” for the Mirror Lake ladies’ first Fall week of golf, “1st 9-hole Club Champion” and “Mystery Partner.” The 9-hole Club Champion is determined by whoever posts the Low Gross score. In Mystery Partner, numbers are drawn out of a hat at the end of play to determine who the partners are, and the partners with the lowest accumulated score win the prize.

The winners of the 9-hole championship were Jenny Link for the Wednesday morning players with her Gross 48, and Gerry Ann Howlett for the Tuesday evening players with her Gross 41. Congratulations, ladies!

Other Wednesday morning player awards went to Evelyn Rae for Low Net with 36, Evelyn Rae and Carrie Figgins for the winning Mystery Partners team, Linda Hiatt for her chip-in on Hole #8, and Beverly Comegys for Low Putts with 16. For the Tuesday evening players, Gerry Ann Howlett had a birdie on Hole #9 and also won Low Net with 31. Therese Helmer won Low Putts with 16. Congratulations to all the winners!

The Mirror Lake lady golfers meet every Tuesday evening and/or Wednesday morning at the Mirror Lake Golf Club. Tee-off times for our Fall schedule in September/October are between 5:30 p.m. and 6 p.m. for the Tuesday evening players and 10 a.m. for the Wednesday morning players. All lady golfers are welcome. Just call Mirror Lake Golf Club at 208 267-5314 and let Ralph, Carole or M’Lee know you are coming.
