For the week of Sept. 17-18, Game of the Day was Ace for the month of September, plus Mystery Partner for the Wednesday morning players.

Both Tuesday evening and Wednesday morning proved cloudy and rainy, but 10 ladies came out anyway and the golfing turned out to be surprisingly pleasant at least weather-wise, if not in the achievement category.

For the Tuesday evening players, Renee Murphy in B Flight won Ace for September with a low gross of 61 and low net of 41. Current Ace of the month in A Flight, Gerry Ann Howlett had a low gross of 49 and low net of 39, also the low putts for the evening with 16.

For the Wednesday morning players, Julie Williams, Flight A, won Ace of September with a low gross of 37, low net of 34, and Julie had the low putts with 15. The winners of the mystery partners award were Julie Williams and Anne Bonar.

While Fall is in the air, the Mirror Lake lady golfers are still meeting every Tuesday evening and/or Wednesday morning at the Mirror Lake Golf Club. Current tee-off times are between 5:30 and 6 p.m. for the Tuesday evening players and 10 a.m. for the Wednesday morning players.

All lady golfers are welcome to join in. Just call Mirror Lake Golf Club at 208 267-5314 and let Ralph, Carole or M’Lee know you are coming. Hope to see you before the ending of our golf season mid-October.
