1M COVID-19 cases reported globally

The total number of COVID-19 cases topped one million worldwide on Thursday, according to Worldometers, a reference site that provides counters and real-time statistics.

Globally, more than 51,000 people have died of COVID-19, including 5,718 in the United States. More than 237,000 cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed in the U.S.

Idaho is reporting more than 600 cases of COVID-19 statewide. There are 36 confirmed cases in North Idaho so far — 36 in Kootenai County and one in Bonner County.

More than 210,000 people are reported to have recovered worldwide.
