Be careful of voting for wolves in sheep’s clothing

| April 23, 2020 1:00 AM

It’s primary time. While I was not surprised to see Tim Tucker on the ballot for County Commissioner, I was surprised to see he changed party affiliations.

Did you know when he previously held office he was a Democrat? Did he have a change of heart and feel the national leadership of the Democrat party has veered too far to the left with their extreme agenda? Is Mr. Tucker now denouncing socialism which he has previously publicly advocated? Or, is this a ruse for getting into office by any means necessary?

Don’t take my word for it. Check out Wikipedia and search Idaho Legislative District 1. You will find all the facts going back several years when Mr. Tucker last held office as a long standing member of the Democrat Party.

Is he just another politician checking to see which way the wind is blowing for political expediency? Don’t be fooled by the fact that a candidate has an “R” next to their name. You could be voting for a “wolf in sheep’s clothing.”

Should Mr. Tucker win, our county could very well be faced with a socialist agenda and other progressive utopian programs. But don’t take my word for it; I encourage you to do your own research on the candidates running for office.
