Kindergarten signup process begins online for BCSD parents

BONNERS FERRY — Boundary County parents and guardians can begin the kindergarten registration process online at this time, according to Boundary County School District officials.

“We are in the process of planning for next year,” BCSD Superintendent Jan Bayer said. “We want to start to connect with our future students.”

Kindergarten registration forms are posted on every elementary school website and the district website. Parents will need to bring a copy of their child’s birth certificate and immunization records to the school prior to school starting in September 2020.

If parents/guardians have any questions, Bayer said they should contact any one of the school district’s three elementary schools by phone.

A variety of screenings will be made available by district personnel.

Immunization requirement for children born after Sept. 1, 2005: two doses Measles,Mumps, Rubella (MMR), five doses Diphtheria, Tetanus, Pertusis (DTP), four doses Polio, three Hepatitis B, two doses Hepatitis A, and two doses Varicella.
