Camps win at statewide trapshooting event

The Idaho State Trapshooting Association held its state championship July 23-26 in Boise. A total of 156 shooters from 10 states competed for top awards.

Bart and Barbara Camps from Bonners Ferry emerged as winners in several categories each.

Bart Camps won the preliminary class singles, the preliminary class doubles and was the high overall class winner. In addition, he was the runner-up in the championship class singles category.

Barbara Camps won the preliminary singles category, the category championship doubles, and was named the overall and high all-around champion for the ladies’ competition. In addition, she won championship singles runner-up honors.

This is her first on the Ladies All American Team for the Amateur Trapshooting Association.
