Don’t make assumptions without checking the facts

People too often make assumptions without checking facts. That is exactly what Steve Tanner has done in his letter regarding the Boundary County Human Rights Task Force.

In all of the history of the Boundary County Human Rights Task Force, a position on abortion has not been taken. Nor is there any reference to it in the mission statement, in its policies and in its literature.

It would behoove Mr. Tanner to get facts before making his malignant assertions regarding the task force.
