The automobile dealer firm, Cady & Pier of Libby, Montana, has taken over the Ford agency from C.W. Megquier. They will open the agency here the first of the year.
Charles Wood, proprietor of the Amazon Theatre is installing 150 new opera seats. He will be able to seat 500.
C.H. Gardner, logging superintendent of the B.F. Lumber Co., states that a great deal of logging will be done this winter. Hauling started at Camp 21 yesterday. Hauling will also start from Camp 20 where about a million feet of logs have been cut.

M & M Foods, one of the three largest grocery stores in Bonners Ferry, was sold to North Idaho Foods which is headquartered in Sandpoint. The new manager will be William “Bill” Bayless.
Heavy rains on top of a good foot of soft snow, created a stir at the high school. Flooded parking lots, sheets of water pouring down in front of the doors, and water seeping inside the building has caused considerable consternation.
Bonners Ferry High School Badgers initiated their new gym with a double win against the Eureka Lions and the Wallace Miners in basketball competitions, giving them a strong start to this year’s season.

The Riley Creek Moyie Springs plant will not be operating Jan. 13- Feb.13 in order to make technology updates.
A festive mix of familiar Christmas music and a couple lesser known seasonal pieces, beckon music lovers to the winter concert of the Bonners Ferry Community Orchestra.
The Bonners Ferry Lady Badgers smashed the St. Maries Lumberjacks 53-38 in Intermountain League play last Saturday.
