Floyd R. Block, an ore truck driver for the Idaho-Continental Mining Co., hauling ore from the mine to Porthill, was killed about 8:30 on Wednesday morning, when his truck went over an embankment.

Senator W.S. Walker and Representative A.J. Kent left yesterday for Boise to attend the special session of the legislature called to convene tomorrow for the purpose of ratifying the constitutional amendment for women’s suffrage.

Miss Dorothy Spurling entertained the teachers of the Bonners Ferry schools at her home in Park Addition Saturday night at a dancing and card party.
