BONNERS FERRY— The Community Restorium hosted a Valentine’s Day dance this past Friday, Feb. 14, complete with decorations and romantic prime rib dinner for all.

The dance was a hit and made possible with the help of a number of individuals and organizations who made the day even more special for the residents.

“We want to give a thank you to the Roadrunners 4-H club who made decorations, made Valentine’s Day cards, and provided a photo booth and photographer for the dance,” said Squire Fields, the Restorium maintenance department director. “We also want to thank the kids from Pack 114 who came to deliver Valentine’s cards and stayed to dance with the residents.”

Restorium residents were greeted with Valentine’s Day decorations and event specific music to help bolster spirits to enjoy the day.

“Joy Fields, Tia Avery, and Kortni Roy came in earlier in the day to do the residents’ nails for free, using their Color Street supplies,” said Fields.

Dancing and feasting, residents had a beautiful time.

“After a dance filled with classic oldies songs, the residents and families had a prime rib dinner,” said Fields.
