Free boat safety, paddle sport classes offered

The Boundary County Sheriff’s Office will be offering free Boat Safety and Paddle Sport Classes on Saturdays, March 7, 14 and 28, and April 4. Classes are at the Boundary County Waterways Building, 6821 Riverside St. in Bonners Ferry. Classes start at 8 a.m. and run about six hours.

All elements of boating safety, Idaho laws, cold water immersion, and the importance of PFD use will be taught.
