Memo from the Museum

| January 2, 2020 12:00 AM

Organizations of all kinds depend upon volunteer services from members of the communities they serve. The Boundary County Historical Society is one of these 501(c)(3) entities that operates through financial support and volunteerism of those living in our community and those who visit our Museum.

Once a year a Membership Meeting is held to conduct the business of the Society according to the rules of incorporation. This meeting will be held on Tuesday, Jan. 14, at the Museum in Portrait Hall, beginning at 6 p.m. All members of the Society are encouraged to attend, and this is also an opportunity for all in the community who may be interested in becoming members, or volunteers, to learn what the Society and the Museum is about and what can be accomplished through membership.

The annual meeting agenda includes reports of activities and programs from the past year, financial reports, elections, and old and new business. This year there are two seats to be elected, and the Board will be appointing one vacancy.

For more information, please call the Museum at 208-267-7720, or drop by Friday or Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
