At a meeting of Commercial Club workers held last night it was decided that a committee should be appointed to assist in the completing of the census in order that the town might get full credit for all its’ citizens.

A man by the name of Mitchell was apprehended Thursday by Marshall J.A. Worley for selling maps without a peddler’s license.

Stanley Jarvis escaped serious injury while on his way to a lumber camp with a load of supplies. The pinion of the driveshaft gave way, causing the brakes to freeze. The truck slid down the hill until it struck a rock and stopped.

The USDA has begun phasing out DDT as a pesticide.

Schools are closed for two days due to the flu bug.

Dave Short and Mrs. Nick Plato are elected new heads of the Cattlemen’s Association and the Cowbelles.

A graduate of BFHS, Taylor Cady, is this week’s Nebraska NCAA Division II player of the week.

The Badger boys have taken the top spot in Intermountain League standings, with a record of 4-0.

In the largest auction to date, November’s Mt. Hall Mega Auction raised $58,055.72, with proceeds to be split among all district schools.
