Hospital seeks cloth masks

| July 2, 2020 1:00 AM

BONNERS FERRY — Boundary Community Hospital is in need of additional cloth masks for our staff and patients.

Although the hospital has received many handmade cloth face coverings from the community, many of them have worn down after multiple washes, hospital officials said. If you have time, material and would like to help, please drop off masks in Ziploc bags, with the name of the donor in the box in the Outpatient Services entry.

Masks without filters, elastic around the ears and those that tie are the most user friendly for patients and staff, officials said.

These masks will be used by the non-patient care team members and for patients using Outpatient Services who will be given the option to keep the cloth masks after their appointment.

“Thank you for your generous support of the hospital team,” officials said.
