James Williams, 84, passed away on Friday, June 19, 2020, at Kootenai Medical Center in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho.

Private family services have been held.

Jim was born on Nov. 3, 1935, in Ohio to James and Imogene “Jean” Williams. He attended high school in Redondo Beach, Calif. He served his country in the United States Army. He worked as a telephone lineman. Jim married Patsy Train on Aug. 30, 1958, in Redondo Beach, and divorced April 28, 1981.

Jim married Evelyn Lorene Mann on Jan. 31, 1982, in Los Angeles. He worked as a deputy sheriff in Lenox, Calif., for 27 years. He retired in 1993 and moved to Bonners Ferry, Idaho. He loved the Lord, Lorene and his family. He also enjoyed riding motorcycles, hunting, fishing, playing billiards, drinking beer, and his dogs and cats.

Jim is survived by his wife, Evelyn Lorene Williams in Bonners Ferry; daughter Shurie Ford of Newbury Park, Calif.; son Mark Williams of Reno, Nev.; stepson John Mann; and two grandchildren, John and Natalie Mann.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and sister Betty Frasca.
