Jean Eddy Jean Eddy

Jean Lamberson was born in the old livery stable at Bonners Ferry, Idaho, on Sept. 21, 1930. She was the daughter of Edna May and Corbet Lamberson.

She passed away on June 28, 2020, at Kootenai, Idaho.

Jean and George Eddy were married at Libby, Mont., on Oct. 2, 1948.

She is survived by her son, Randy; and daughters, Tessie Kramer and Stacey Holmes. Jean was preceded in death by her husband, George; their son, Shane Ray, who died three days after his birth; and her brother, Denver; and sister, Norma.

She also is survived by four grandchildren, Christi, Kylie, Lee, and Keri; and was preceded in death by one granddaughter, Shannon. She is survived by 10 great-grandchildren, Joseph, Roman, Claire, Kamren, Cody, Gavin, Ally, Stephanie, David and Jordan; and survived by three great-great-grandchildren, Peyton, Anthony, and Caiden.

Jean worked as a cook all of her working years. She made the statement, “ I started cooking at age 20 and cooked from then on.“ She cooked for numerous employers and her final career years were spent at the Boundary County School District.

She will be missed.
