Keep it simple and live by the golden rule

Re: Steve Tanner addressing “The recently added segment of the vision statement” at a recent council meeting:

I agree with Mr. Tanner, that the politically correct inspired segment should be removed.

I believe it is unnecessary.

How about we just keep it simple, live by the Golden Rule and not jump on the PC bandwagon.
