Mirror Lake Ladies’ Golf Report — July 9, 2020

Ten Mirror Lake ladies braved threatening weather to play on Wednesday morning, July 1. They all completed nine holes before the storm hit.

Game of the day was “three clubs and a putter,” in which players are restricted to only three clubs of their choice and a putter for the entire game. The winner was Maureen Blackmore with a net 34. Maureen was also the low net winner. Jenny Link won low gross with 47. Gerry Ann Howlett won the low putts prize with 14. Nobody had a chip in that morning.

The Mirror Lake Ladies Golf group meets every Tuesday evening at 4:30 or 5, and/or every Wednesday morning at 9. Every week is a different interesting and fun game for nine hole play. Ladies may stay longer and play a second nine if they wish. Any interested lady golfer is welcome to join!
