Second Harvest to distribute food on Friday

BONNERS FERRY — Second Harvest Inland Empire plans to deliver over 10,000 pounds of food to Boundary County residents who may need it. On Friday, June 12 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. the non-profit’s trucks will be located at the west end of the Boundary County Fairgrounds.

Just as it was the last time, the food will be delivered to participants’ trunks. People are asked to stay in their vehicles and drive through the line to the truck’s location.

Sponsors for the year include Bonners Ferry Veterinary Clinic, Thrivent Financial, churches and anonymous local donors.
