Game of the Day for the Mirror Lake Ladies, week of June 2-3, was “Mystery Partner, Low Net.”

Karen English and Gerry Ann Howlett tied for Low Gross with 46, and Karen English and Tara Lee tied for Low Net with 31. Five players tied for Low Putts, each with 15: Etta Mae Schneurle, Karen English, Gerry Ann Howlett, Tara Lee and Linda Hiatt. Linda Hiatt also had a chip-in on Hole #7.

The Mirror Lake ladies golf group meets every Tuesday evening and every Wednesday morning from May through September. Tuesday evening tee off times are flexible and sometimes begin as early as 4:30 p.m., although the usual start time is 5 p.m. Wednesday morning tee off time is 9 a.m. Any interested lady golfer is welcome to join.

The ladies would like to introduce the Mirror Lake Golf Course to any lady golfer who might not be familiar with it through a “buddy” system, allowing prospective new members or beginning golfers to team up with a current member for a friendly introductory nine holes. Just call the pro shop at 208 267-5314 and tell Malaine, Phil, Julie or Ralph that you are interested! Remember, ladies, that this summer, Mirror Lake allows children to golf for free, so moms can bring their children and introduce them to the game as well!

Mark your calendars for the ladies’ Margaritaville 18 hole golf day on July 15, 2015. It should be a very enjoyable day with all after-golf activities taking place outside in sheltered areas on the course for a relaxed and spread-out golf fun day. Any interested lady golfer is welcome to join.
