Bridge work starts June 22

Trout Creek South Bridge on the Westside Road will be replaced with a new two-lane bridge starting around June 22, according to Boundary County Road & Bridge officials.

As a result, the Westside Road will be closed between the 9.5 mile and 9.8 mile areas of the road, north of the junction with Riverside Road.

The road will be completely closed to traffic during construction, which is expected to run from about June 22 through Sept. 22. Drivers will need to use an alternate route.
