Brick for the Crescent Garage and C.D. Simonds’ building arrived last week and is being unloaded.
E.B. Neil and Ed Bush, of the Parks Highway Garage, drove in from Spokane Thursday with a 1920 seven passenger Hudson Super Six automobile. The new car is now owned by J.L. Washburn, who bought it for use on his stage line between Bonners Ferry and Porthill.
The U.S. Civil Service Commission is advertising that an examination will be held at the B.F. Post Office for applicants to fill the position of Postmaster at Naples, Idaho. The compensation is approximately $190 per year.

A junior football group has organized under the direction of Irv Dinning and Ken Mendenhall.
The Boundary County Airport Board is finalizing plans to extend the runway. Extension of the runway will allow use of the facility as a forest firefighting base.
The Kootenai River has crested just under the 25 foot mark.
There was a “Grassman of the Year” picnic at the Gibbons ranch attended by 250.

Local children soared with the eagles on Saturday during the Experimental Aircraft Association’s Young Eagles Flight Rally at the Boundary County Airport.
Everyone was fishing on Saturday at the Snow Creek Lion’s Club pond for the Kid’s Fishing Day event.
The BF Babe Ruth baseball team came away from Spirit Lake this past weekend with two victories.
