District offering free grab-n-go meals

BONNERS FERRY — Boundary County School District 101 will be providing free grab-n- go meals to all children 18 and younger at the sites listed below this summer. No meals will be served at any sites June 29-July 3.

The school district is participating in the summer food service program. Meals will be provided to all children, ages 1-18, without charge. Acceptance and participation requirements for the program and all activities are the same for all regardless of race, color, national origin, sex, age, or disability and there will be no discrimination in the course of the meal service.

Each child will be given one breakfast and one lunch daily, Monday-Friday. Sites and times could change due to participation.

Meals will be provided at the sites and times as follows:

• Valley View Elementary School

Valley View Elementary School will serve meals out the back door of the lunch room between June 10 to Aug. 14 from 8:15 -10:15 a.m. Families are asked to please stay in their car and drive around to the back of the school. Then, drive up to the fence and meals will be brought to your car.

• Bonners Ferry Municipal Pool

Bonners Ferry Municipal Pool will serve meals from June 15 to Aug. 7 from 9:15 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. from a food service vehicle in the swimming pool parking lot.
