Moyie Boat Launch could open May 30

BONNERS FERRY — City officials have announced they will open the Moyie Boat Launch on or after May 30.

The date coincide with the Stage 3 of Gov. Brad Little’s Stay Healthy order. This decision is directly tied to the fact that the area gets a lot of out-of-state traffic, officials said.

The order and staged reopening states that Stage 3 is when non-essential travel is lifted, group/gatherings of 10-50 are allowed, and the 14-day self quarantine order is lifted.
