Suppiger supports education, we should support him

I’m voting for Gary Suppiger in the May 19 Republican primary for seat 1B in the Idaho State House of Representatives, representing Bonner and Boundary counties.

Gary has used his communication and organizational talents well for over 30 years, successfully managing a local forest products business in Bonner County. I believe those skills will serve him well in the Idaho Legislature.

But what has impressed me most about his campaign is Gary’s focus on education. As a former educator I strongly support Gary’s concerns about adequate funding especially when the available money seems to be a contest between the so-called “have” and the “have-not” school districts across the state. Gary believes that is a better way to finance public schools in Idaho and I agree.

Unlike some of our current state legislators I also believe Gary will walk the walk, not just talk, and fully support public education in Idaho.

That is why I’m voting for Gary Suppiger in the May 19 Republican primary.
