Rabbits and fairies spread niceties downtown

BONNERS FERRY — Passersby in the vicinity of the Boundary County library were greeted with nice gestures by colorful costumed do-gooders.
Armed with poster boards emblazoned with friendly statements and a boombox blasting happy themed music, on Friday, May 8, friends, Peter Rabbit (Carolyn Testa) and a Fairy (Denise Crichton), set out to brighten the mood.
“With everything that’s going on right now, these signs are just some nice sentiments for people to see,” said Testa. “It was like the perfect solution for bringing Peter Rabbit out and spreading just a little bit of happiness in Bonners Ferry.”
