“Come on over.”

We have been invited to Dr. and Mrs. Bishop’s home for an evening of entertainment. These two photographs show the parlor room in Thomas and Belle (Jones) Bishop’s home, ca. 1903. The room features her taste in quality along with his hunting adventures. Also note, hanging from the wall shelf, with a patchwork “crazy quilt” throw, is a miniature sturgeon nosed canoe. The framed photograph on the wall is of Belle’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Andrew J. Jones. Alongside that photograph is a collection of three smaller photographs taken in Bonners Ferry.

We are sure to have a grand time! I wonder what they will be serving?
