Chamber readies for Hometown Holidays fun
Bonners Ferry Chamber's Hometown Holidays celebration is here.
The season-long celebration kicks off with Small Business Saturday and a holiday scavenger hunt. But that is just the beginning as the celebration also will feature a lights display contest, and letters to Santa. The fun will culminate with 9B Ladies on the Loose and Santa at Georgia Mae Plaza.
The scavenger hunts starts Nov. 25, with those taking part needing to find the holiday items scattered around town to win a prize.
The holiday lights display contest begins Dec. 1 with area residents being able to vote on their favorite decorated store windows.
On Dec. 5, the annual tree lighting ceremony, a visit with Santa and caroling with the Bonners Ferry Community choir will bring the holidays into downtown Bonners Ferry. Festivities begin at 4 p.m.
9B Ladies on the Loose will the focus of a fun-filled day of holiday shopping from 9 a.m.-4 p.m.
