The sign stays, intolerant people should move

| October 8, 2020 1:00 AM

This letter is being written in response to Ruth Perry's letter "Trump Country: Sign should be removed." My opinion is a little different — "Trump Country: The sign stays … certain intolerant people move.

Let's face it Ruth, You never wished anything good for Trump and just because you

disagree with him you think anyone who believes opposite of you is probably an uneducated, brown-shirted Nazi. Not so. I am a well-educated successful man who retired at age 58 (now 84). I have voted Democrat most of the time; but I don't care about the party, I vote for the best person! Believe me it is definitely Trump.

This is Trump country. If you don't like it, move to Washington state. You will fit right in.

I am not a fan of the confederate battle flag, but i'm not going to get upset with someone flying it on their truck; it's their truck not yours.

If the sign in question is on private land, and I think it is, your opinion doesn't mean bodiddly anyway.
