Bonners Ferry Chamber introduces Area of Interest Business Fund

| October 22, 2020 1:00 AM

The Bonners Ferry Chamber of Commerce in partnership with the Innovia Foundation has established a Small Business Recovery Fund to help small businesses with one to five employees.

The business must not have benefitted from an Economic Injury Disaster Loan, Paycheck Protection Program, Idaho Rebound Grant or any other state funding. The purpose of this program is to ensure that all small businesses have an avenue for financial assistance to help them through financial issues caused by COVID-19.

Part of the agreement with the Innovia Foundation is that area businesses and individuals would contribute to a Boundary County Business Fund to match the Innovia initial funding amount, Bonners Ferry Chamber officials said.

The Bonners Ferry Chamber of Commerce is asking businesses and individuals to contribute to the matching fund as a supplement to the initial funding by the Innovia Foundation. This is a great opportunity for all local businesses and individuals to help our local businesses stay in business by assisting them through this pandemic economy.

Please make all checks out to Innovia Foundation and take them to Bonners Ferry Mountain West Bank. All the contributions will be deposited into the Boundary County Business Matching Fund. We look forward to having a sizable matching fund in which several of our businesses can be helped that have experienced difficult times through this COVID-19.
