Helen Esther (Davis) Hull, 79

Helen Esther (Davis) Hull, 79, went to be with Jesus on Friday, Sept. 11, 2020, at her home in Kootenai Bay, Idaho. Graveside services were held Friday, Sept. 18, 2020, at the Pack River Cemetery.

She was born in Spokane, Wash., on May 8, 1941, to Earl R. Davis and Vallie Mae Davis. She had a wonderful childhood growing up at Pack River where her family made a living logging, and spending time with her best friend Katie Long at the family home which was the site of the present Pack River Store.

She married Clifford R. Hull, the love of her life, on Sept. 1, 1956, in Libby, Mont. They just celebrated their 64th anniversary. Helen and Clifford made their home and raised their children in Kootenai Bay. She enjoyed raising her children and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She loved fishing for kokanee on Lake Koocanusa and Pend Oreille Lake, camping, canning and gardening. She was an excellent gardener and grew a huge garden every year along with beautiful roses and a variety of beautiful flowers.

Helen is survived by her husband, Clifford Hull; five of her children, Darlene (Kevin) Sawyer, Marcus (Janna) Hull, Rosalind (Mike) Crone, Cliff (Chris) Hull, and Austin (Lynn) Hull; and 18 grandchildren, 38 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

Helen is preceded in death by her siblings, Kirby H. Davis, Earl Robert Davis Jr., Keith Davis, Dale A. Davis, Lois E. Richey, Howard E. Davis, and Patricia Nelson; her daughter, Mae Delight Hull; and great-granddaughter, Ellie Christine Netzloff.
