Game of the day for the week of Sept. 17, 2020, was a "mystery" revealed only after everyone's 9-hole rounds were completed. It turned out to be "most one putts," and the winner was Gerry Ann Howlett with a remarkable four. Runners up with three were Anne Bonar, Ruth Ann Wilson, and Blanche Studer.
The overall "low putts" award was a tie between Gerry Ann, Anne and Ruth Ann with 16 each. Gerry Ann won the low gross award with 44, and there was a tie for low net between Gerry Ann, Linda Bogdan and Elaine Morgan, each with 35. All in all, a very good showing as summer winds down.
The Mirror Lake Ladies' Golf Club meets every Tuesday evening and every Wednesday morning from May through September. As the mornings cool off, the Wednesday morning tee time is moved up to 10 a.m.
There are still good golf days ahead. Any interested lady golfer is welcome to join in. We look forward to the last three play days coming up when the Ladies' Club Champion and Ace of Aces will be determined.
