Trout Creek Bridge reopening delayed a week
BONNERS FERRY — Boundary County Road & Bridge Department had advised that the Trout Creek Bridge project is slightly behind schedule. As a result, the bridge will now re-open on Sept. 300.
The single-lane Trout Creek South Bridge on the Westside Road is being replaced with a new two-lane bridge. Originally scheduled for completion on Sept. 22, the project was started in June and is being accomplished by C.E. Kramer Crane & Contracting, Inc. of Naples.
The project is a Federal Aid Bridge Replacement Project sponsored by Boundary County, administered by Idaho Transportation Department and the Local Highway Technical Assistance Council.
Residents can visit the Road & Bridge Construction/Delays website for information and updates regarding construction: http://boundarycountyid.org/site-page/construction-delays.
"The Road and Bridge Department appreciates everyone’s cooperation during road construction projects and road delays," officials said in a press release.
Area residents are asked to drive with caution through construction areas.
