Bonners Ferry Gun Club receives NRA grant
Bonners Ferry ID — The NRA Foundation has awarded the Bonners Ferry Gun Club a grant totaling $10,200.00 to fund ammunition and safety gear for our Bonners Ferry High School Trapshooting Team. "We are very excited about our Trapshooting Team, the “Duke’s Claybusters”, "said Ron Campbell, Bonners Ferry Gun Club Vice President/Coach, "and very pleased that the NRA is making an investment our youth and in our community."
Bonners Ferry Gun Club president and head coach Lonny Jelinek is very passionate about this sport and these young shooters. He works very hard to make trapshooting fun, competitive and always puts safety first. “As president and a shotgun coach, I couldn’t be more proud to coach one of the best youth trap teams in the Northwest.” This NRA grant will allow the Bonners Ferry Gun Club to continue to offer this program to young shooters in Boundary County.
