Members of the Boundary County Sheriff’s Office have once again been busy this week with a number of items, including forgery, burglary, shoplifting, and contributing to the delinquency of minors. (Really?)
Grand opening of the M and M Food City Store, now underway for about two months, and Diane’s Beauty Salon, also underway for about a month, both promise to have some fine specials and give-aways.
Bonners Ferry Junior Miss, Miss Becky Huggins, and 28 other talented young ladies from all parts of Idaho are in Moscow, preparing for the Idaho Junior Miss Pageant.

On Friday, the Boundary County Historical Society purchased the space it currently occupies and also purchased the two adjoining spaces, which are currently being leased by Boundary Computer Solutions and South Hill Furniture. The expansion and purchase has been in the works for at least three years.
The Bonners Ferry girls’ basketball team beat Priest River 53-43 Saturday to claim the Intermountain League Championship and the number one seed for the District 1-2 Intermountain League Tournament beginning this Saturday at Timberlake High School.
The Bonners Ferry boy’s team rallied to beat Priest River in overtime 57-45.
