J.B. and Mary Wages moved to Bonners Ferry in 1955. In 1956, J.B. went to work as manager of the K.V. Hardware Store during the day, and in the evening worked at Monk’s Texaco Station. J.B. purchased, from Douglas & Howard, the Carter Oil Service Station on the corner of Main Street and Railroad Avenue in 1959. He had a new station constructed in 1960 calling it J.B.’s Humble Service Station. It was later renamed J.B.’s Enco Servicenter. In 1970, J.B. had a new building constructed on the South Hill, which we now know as J.B.’s Tire & Automotive.

This is a plastic calendar topper, which used to have a paper calendar hanging from the bottom.
