So you say that you're a patriot

So, you say you are a patriot.

Are you also an Oath Keeper? Do you believe in the concepts of governance put forth in the Constitution? Do you believe in the American way of basic rights, rule of law, and respect for governmental institutions?

Do you respect the legal findings of our Supreme Court? Do you acknowledge the benefits and the merits and methods used in our medical and scientific communities, even if you do not understand the intricacies of their findings and methods?

If you answered yes to all or most of those, I would say yes, you are a patriotic American.

So now, a question: If you answered yes to those, then explain why, now that Trump has lost the election, why now do you call for civil war? Why now is there a  rush to buy weapons to use against other Americans? Why now is our system called out for being corrupt, our elections fraudulent, or scientists corrupt, our Supreme Court corrupt? Had Trump won, would you be doing this? I bet not.

How is it that science has brought us so much, but now those scientists are evil, “on the take”, and frauds? Is it because a handful of fanatical non-scientists told you so? YES, it is.

How is it that NASA and other science agencies have studied climate change for decades and presented their findings, but because of your hatred for anything “liberal”, you deny everything they have to say, without any basis whatsoever?

You lament the division in America but you refuse to accept that you are the ones causing it.
