Badger wrestlers compete at Rollie Lane invite
NAMPA - Three Badger wrestlers placed and eight competed at the prestigious Rollie Lane Invitational last weekend at the Ford Center in Nampa.
Bonners Ferry's Evan Barajas battled through the consolation bracket to finish fifth in the 132-pound weight class, earning five pins among his six wins at the event.
Eli Richards (170) and Andrew Sandelin-Macintosh (220) each placed sixth in their weight class. Richards reached the 170-pound semifinals and Sandelin-Macintosh reached the quarterfinals at 220 pounds.
Also competing for Bonners Ferry were Marcus Regehr (138), Bryan Durette (145), Kyle Smith (152), Nathaniel Varelman (182) and Jackson Richter (220).
