Let's come together in these unsettled times

| January 14, 2021 1:00 AM

This is a letter to all of us: conservatives, liberals, moderates, Republicans, Democrats, men, women, children.

We are being lied to. We are being misled. We are all being silenced. (At the time of this writing, Parler, the free speech version of Twitter has been taken down by the information Nazis.)

We are all being told what to say, write, think, believe. We are all being canceled. Our history is being erased. Our freedom is being suppressed. We are all being controlled. Our rights under the Bill of Rights are being denied and threatened. Our elections are rife with fraud.

We are not to say the words him, she, his, mother, father, sister, brother. We are expected to be sheep. We are being led. Where to? When do we say, "no?" When is enough, enough? Where is your line in the sand? What do we do? What can we do?

Perhaps …

Hope for the best, prepare for the worst? Boycott Big Tech? Get to know our neighbors? Help our neighbors? Love others are you love yourself? Get off Facebook and Twitter? Watch news less? Listen to music more? Sing along joyously? Get involved? Begin change locally?

Monitor local school boards, city, county, state and national offices? Run for local positions? Join a club or organization? Attend the gun range?

Maybe even …

Join a church? Love and obey God? Love more, hate less? Pray more?

Let's come together.
