Earl Clinton DeWolf worked for many years at logging camps in Idaho, Montana, and British Columbia. He began as a timber cruiser in 1907, and surveyed areas for the Bonners Ferry Lumber Company in Bonners Ferry, Idaho. He had an avid interest in photography. However, he failed to label so many of his creations. His collection of photos was donated to the museum; some of which the staff is able to identify.

But there are those that have only a simple explanation such as: “General Store.” So, this is the general store – somewhere in Idaho, Montana, or British Columbia. Photo taken by Earl DeWolf.
