This postcard from the Kent Collection is not dated. But no matter what year it took place, Boundary County residents have always enjoyed their 4th of July celebrations. The man in the photo is believed to be A. J. Kent, Howard's grandfather. He and his "sporting dog" are getting ready for a 4th of July parade.

As you all celebrate the holiday with family and friends, please be safe and remember the dry conditions of this year. Happy 4th of July.
