One of the magnificent views to see when flying in an airplane is the "Village of Bonners Ferry." This colorful image is a scan of a slide taken ca. 1965 by Clem Mostek. Slides, when protected from the light, retain the vivid colors seen by the photographer.
The museum is honored to collect and preserve photographic images taken by hundreds of people who call this place home. It would not have these images if not for the individuals who have donated them over the years. The photographic collection in the museum exceeds 25,000 cataloged, with many more to be cataloged.
"A picture says a thousand words." What does this one say to you?
