BONNERS FERRY — Second Harvest Inland Empire will be bringing their mobile truck full of food for residents of the county on Friday, April 2, from 11 a.m to 1 pm at the Boundary county fairgrounds.
This event is the first food distribution of the year, and all are welcome to receive food. There will be a drive-through area with cars entering from the east entrance.
Food is donated by producers, individuals, distributors, packed in Spokane, and driven to Bonners Ferry.
Individuals, churches, businesses and organizations donate to help pay for the $2000 cost per truck. Second Harvest provides a partial grant, and Thrivent Financial provides a donation towards each mobile truck distribution.
