“Oh, Happy Day!” Music is about to get loud.

The museum has reopened with new hours: Thursday-Saturday 10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. Come on down to see new exhibits, old exhibits, and people you have not seen in some time.

This great photograph of the “Edison Home Phonograph” was taken in 1974 when the museum operated from the basement of the library. Forty-six years later, the Boundary County Museum, in the Meqguier-Houck Building on Main Street, is honored to preserve and display the rich history of the county at the “top of Idaho.”

Boundary County Historical Society and Museum, 7229 Main, Bonners Ferry sponsors this column.

Visit the museum Thursday through Saturday 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. You can visit our website at www.boundarycountymuseum.org, or the museum’s Facebook page for historical photos and stories and to see upcoming events. We can be reached at doyouremember@meadowcrk.com or 208-267-7720. Thank you for your continued support!
