The women of the Kootenai Tribe are known for their beautiful beadwork. This pillow was made by one of the women and given to Dr. Ezra Esher Fry. Dr. Fry loved the pillow so much he displayed it in his office on the second floor of the Enterprise Building.

Dr. Fry was a friend of the Kootenai Tribe and rendered medical aid to the people. He was instrumental in helping get new housing at the mission in 1930.
