It was always an adventure to come to town and see what items were in the general store.
Here is a great photo of a Kootenai man and child and another man on the “boardwalk” in front of the store. Unfortunately, many photographs in the museum collection are not labeled, therefore, we don’t know who the people are, which store this was, or for that matter, what the dog’s name was!
We can see from the photo that the people stood proud to get their photo taken (the dog didn’t care one bit!).
Wish we could step back in time to find out who these people are.
