BRIEF: Memorial Day parade

The VFW will be hosting a Memorial Day parade, Monday, May 31.

Anyone wanting to be a part of the parade should arrive at the Boundary County Fairgrounds by 9 a.m. to get organized.

Spectators can expect the parade to start at 10 a.m. The parade will wind through downtown, back to the fairgrounds and will be followed by a ceremony at Grandview Cemetery.

The fire department will present the colors followed by speeches from Bonners Ferry Distinguished Young Woman 2021 winner Cali Iacolucci and Corporal Dave Schuman from the Boundary County Sheriff’s Office. Compass Grille will be serving up food at the fairgrounds after the ceremony.
