Heartwood Heart to perform at the Pearl

| November 18, 2021 1:00 AM

If you’re looking for something fun to do, look no further than Hardwood Heart’s upcoming concert at the Pearl Theater.

The Missoula-based band will be performing at the downtown theater, 7160 Ash St., on Friday, Nov. 26 at 7 p.m.

The group features two former members of Pearl favorites, the Dodgy Mountain Men. Hardwood Heart guitarist Josh Clinger and mandolin player Jed Nussbaum, made an impressive catalog of original material and covers, woven together with creative improvisation and vocal harmonies. Together they paired up with bassist Caleb Mattis and forged a sound rooted in bluegrass but stretching into jazz, folk, blues and rock ‘n’ roll.

This show promises to be high energy so the main floor will be cleared for dancing. Since there is limited seating and VIP balcony seating, Pearl Theater officials recommend buying tickets early. The cafe will be serving appetizers, dinner options and drink specials from Dry Fly Distillery.

Tickets are $15 general admission and $20 for VIP tickets.

The doors and the Pearl Cafe will open at 6 p.m.
