Second Harvest food distribution Oct. 15

BONNERS FERRY — Second Harvest Inland Empire will bring their food distribution truck to Bonners Ferry for the fifth and final time this year on Friday, Oct. 15.

This drive-through event will be at the Boundary County Fairgrounds. Cars should enter from the east side of the fairgrounds. Again, the event will be from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m.

This truck is sponsored by a local family, Trinity Lutheran Church, Thrivent Financial and Second Harvest Inland Empire.

All who desire assistance with their food needs are welcome. Last month 240 families participated, and there were more than 14,000 pounds of food provided. The distribution includes produce, shelf-stable foods, frozen and dairy.
