Under the supervision of Prof. Bonman, head of the manual training department of the B. F. Schools, the class of high school boys taking a course in concrete work have constructed a concrete sidewalk from the grade building to the gymnasium.
The B. F. Abstract and Title Co., a newly organized local corporation announces itself ready to transact the business of preparing and furnishing abstracts of title to any real property within Boundary County.
John Irvin Monks died Saturday at his home in Spokane after an illness of several weeks resulting from paralysis. The deceased made his home in Bonners Ferry for 12 years, moving to Spokane some three years ago when he and his associates sold the First State Bank, which he had helped organize and of which he was the president.

Boundary County jail escapee Peter Sam Nicolai, 33, Hot Springs, Montana, was apprehended by Spokane police department Friday and returned to county jail Monday. Nicolai was awaiting trial following his capture in August for allegedly breaking into Farmer’s Market at Three-Mile Junction.
Mrs. Nancy J. McClain, of Nancy’s Office Services, has purchased the Bonners Ferry Credit Bureau from Mrs. Faye Hummel.
A head-on collision early this morning, at 1 a.m., on the South Hill curve near the Texaco station, resulted in the totaling of one car and $400 in damages to another.

Even though the county road names are being converted from numbers to names, GIS technician Gary Falcon is urging residents not to attempt to change their mail delivery address until notified that their road name has officially been changed.
